Another way of motivating your kids in doing their assignment or or reviews for their upcoming exams is by making it easy for them. Kids will find it boring if you will talk a lot. The “You Talk, They Listen” procedure is not that effective. Here are some things you can do to improve your kids motivation.

Let them Speak. Kids will surely ask a lot of things that they do not understand or things they get confused of. You have to let them speak, give them a freedom to ask. Even though, what they’re asking is not so related to your topic, you should still entertain their question and answer it the best that you can.

Treat them Right. We cannot take out the fact that most kids can get their answers wrong. As a parent, you should not be so hardh to your kids in a way that you’re telling frankly that their wrong. This will demotivate them and discourage them. All you need to do is to tell them that they are wrong in a affirmative way.

Make some Games. Kids love games. So why not putting studies and games in one? You can make a lot of interesting games for your kid while their studying. In my case, the most common and most effective game for me, that i am using for my brother is the “Raffle Game”. In this game, you will make a set of questions written in a small piece of paper. roll it and place it in a bowl.

Your kid will pick a question and answer it. Its just like you’re pretending to be a game show host and your kid is the contestant.

To make it more effective, you can change your voice a bit as if you are inpersonating someone. Your kids will definitely enjoy it while their learning at the same time.
