We really had so much fun last Friday as our school celebrates the World Bread Day. Well, i know it’s way too far to relate ourselves for this kind of occasion but since one of the active organizations in our school held a feeding program for malnourished kids, they decided to name the event as “Tinapay ng Buhay”, in commemoration with the World’s Bread Day. The “Tinapay ng Buhay” event were able to feed 150 kids and we are so happy to become a part of this event. he help our team to organized the event and help our leaders to distribute the bread. We served Nutri Buns and macaroni soup for the kids. This is a continuous event and is set to run for almost 2 weeks. The feelings of helping other people is quite unexplainable and i am so happy and proud for my self.

It is very alarming to see that the death rate of Breast cancer victims world wide keep on increasing every year. Breast cancer can be fatal if you failed to prevent it as early as possible. This is the reason why we are celebrating National Breast Cancer Awareness month to give awareness to all women and even men to undergo a medical procedure called mammogram. October is recognized as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by the media as well as survivors, family and friends of survivors and/or victims of the disease. It is an annual international health campaign aiming to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention and cure. But of course, along with these awareness, we have to remember that prayer can also be a powerful tool to prevent us from any diseases like cancer. The key to prevent this disease is to have a healthy living.

Yesterday, we celebrated National Family Day and it makes me realized how important the communication is inside your family. Parents should let their kids know about some serious matters like pregnancy, sex, abortion and more in a right time, manner and place. Like in my case for example, well, i am not getting any younger so I cant deny that sometimes i felt confused on some matters like sex. I know that i will came to a point that i will be dealing to such things and i have to be prepared for that by asking someone close to me like my dad. Actually, i have watched a video before discussing about sex and how teenagers should be aware about the responsibilities attached in that activity. There is actually a scenario from that video where a teenage guy asking his father about male enhancement product and how a man can benefit from  it. I guess that video is intended to serve as an eye opener for us, teenagers, and give us knowledge and idea about sex. Anyway, after watching that video, our guess speaker at that time held an open forum to know how much we’ve learned.

Yup! It’s Coastal Clean Up Month this September. actually, it is my first time to hear something about this event until it was explained on the News earlier. International Coastal Clean-up is aiming to give awareness to everyone to take care of our marine life ecosystem. Well, being one of the country who has rich Marine biodiversity, i guess we should all participate in this event even in our very simple way. Actually, in celebration of this event, there are some organizations that is planning to organize some clean-up dive event. Here, they are inviting divers to help them collect garbage under water and help to save the nearly damaged marine habitat. We are all responsible for this, and participating in such event is a great start to help our environment.

So if you’re a diver or haven’t dived for quite some time like me, and is finding a reason to do so, this is a perfect opportunity for you to jump in.

My Auntie gave birth to her lovely daughter last week and now they are planning she’s inviting us to the upcoming baby shower party that will be held in  her house. I am so happy and so excited about this because this she is my first ever niece and it is also my first time to attend a baby shower party. Actually , i still don’t know what to give for my lovely niece.

I guess it is quite inappropriate for her to invite me because traditionally this kind of party is intended only for women especially mothers  to share wisdom and lessons on the art of becoming a mother.

Actually, i am wondering why my Auntie keep on asking my mom about decoration. I thought they will be organizing a birthday party until i got an invitation yesterday stating about this upcoming baby shower party.

So the decoration that she’s talking about over the phone with my mom are the baby shower decorations that she will be using in her daughter’s party.

We are very excited to see my cousin to walk up the stage wearing his black toga. What I am referring here is my cousin’s upcoming graduation day. Graduation day is probably one of the most remarkable days in our life, knowing that after the long road of studying you’ve finally reached the end point. Graduation day is the day when you say goodbye to all those research papers and thesis; no more home works to be done; no more quiz to be taken and no more terror teachers to scold you in every mistakes you did. Because this time, you are going to apply everything that you have learned in the actual life ~ the reality. That is why we are very proud to our cousin to have reached this point. His mom is very supportive. She organizes everything for the upcoming graduation party of his son. We are very lucky enough to received one of graduation invitations that she have distributed. It’s fun because I see my mother to her 3 years ago who’s also very excited in my graduation. Well, we can’t blame our parent to become very proud because they are the one who offered their hard work to raise you well and the one who provide us with proper education. Graduation day is not actually the end point of everything. This is just the start of the new life. We all must ecpect that there’ll be a lot of challenges along his way but just like what they said, “In every challenge we learned and in every failure, we succeed”.
