I’ve worked in an office before and I must say that I really had so much fun being office stuffs. It’s been a dream for me to work in an office and deal with some working papers and working in that company is like a dream come true!

The terms “Working papers and Document files” are already wired when you said office jobs. Well, that is way back before when computers are not yet widely use. Nowadays, most offices are using a modern way of storing their documents using document management system software. Using this kind of software, storing files and arranging them in place are just one click away.

But of course, it would be better if you will also provide hard copies of those documents in case of any emergency.

Sometimes, it is really nice to embrace advanced technology as it makes our work a lot easier!

I’ve been working since I was 17 and I can say that finding a job is not that easy especially now that most countries including America are experiencing what so-called “global financial crisis”. I’ve been in a Human Resource Department 2 years ago. My job is to screen applicants and interview them to test if they are qualified enough for the position they are applying for. I am working as an HR in a boutique so meaning to say, we are dealing with clothes and fabrics here and the store attendants that we wanted to hire has a pleasant personality which includes the height of the applicant. Height is really important that is why I felt pity for those applicants they we have rejected. How I wish I can tell them to buy human growth hormone or any supplements that can improve their heights but I really don’t have the courage to tell it to them directly because if I were in their position, I will feel insulted and humiliated. How about you? What will you do if you were on my position? Will you tell it them frankly? Will you consider this kind of human growth hormone as the best way to improve your height? I know some will say that this is the body given to you by God and you should be contented to it but of course in the practical side, let’s admit that tall person really has great advantage in so many things especially in getting a job.

Here let me share you some useful tips on how to advance in your work.

More Than What is Expected. Do a better job than what is expected from you.One and All, the experts agree that this is the prime essential to advancement. In other words, give more and you’ll get more.

Follow the Boss. Make sure you do the job your boss wants done. As what they say “you can do the best job in the world, but if it’s not one of your boss wants, he will find it upsetting”

Make Friends. Get along with your fellow workers and others with whom you come in contact. This is very important. Many times people work against themselves in terms of their personality~ and, of course, they seldom realize that they’re doing it.

Make Decision. Be able to make decisions. This, according to the president of a job consultant firm, is a must. You would be surprised what a re rare trait this is, Most people do just what they are told to do and pass all decisions on the next follow. But of course make sure that you don’t overdo it because it’s kinda conflicting to our second tip

Missing my Officemates

I really miss all my former office mates in my previous employer. I really had so much fun bonding and mingle with them. I am working as an office staff before but I am just a contractual employee. Even though I spent a little time with my office mates, I really enjoyed their company and treasured every seconds I’ve spent with them. Even though the contract ends up with that employer, what important is I was able to built up a strong foundation of friendship with them which last forever. If there’s one thing that I should be complaining about during my stay with that company, that would be the company’s poor facilitation. My god! I can’t imagine that I was able to survive working in a company that almost all their furniture is broken. I hope the company administrators will soon realized that they need to buy new office furniture. Just like these furniture I found online.
