I am happy that my mom found a new hobby and a new business at the same time. She’s now on a candle making industry. Her friend taught her how to make home-made candles. She bought her own molding tools and the rest of the materials needed in candle making. I never thought that candle making is so easy and fun. I am proud of my mom and look at the picture above, that is a scented candle. She placed it on the top of our coffee table. She’s now making 4 to 8 pieces per week and she sell it to her friends too. Actually i am planning to help her to promote her product online. All i need is to purchase a domain for her and get a perfect layout. What yah think?

I am sick of my desktop computer. It’s giving me a hard time because it runs very slow which is very frustrating. I guess the memory is not enough to support all my activities. I have lots of games installed in my Pc and I think that’s one of the factors why it runs so slow. My mom told me to buy netbook so I can bring it anywhere. She told me not to install any games in the netbook so I can browse and surf faster. The problem is, of all the available netbooks in the store, which is the best? I know there are so many brands like Acer, HP and Toshiba but which will suit me the best? I find Acer quite nice and less expensive so I guess I can deal with it. It’s time to say goodbye to my beloved desktop and say hello to the netbook. Oh my, I am so excited to have one.

We have our own garden in front of our house and we have lots of colorful ornamental plants in our yard. My mom loves gardening; she even bought some gardening guide books to make her garden more appealing. She also bought some heavy garden equipment tools and stored it inside our garage. Yesterday, she mentioned that she wants to redecorate her garden and have a complete make-over to it. We even consulted a Feng Shui expert to tell us what garden arrangement we should have that will bring us luck for this New Year. According to Mr. Shin, a “feng shui” expert, we should have a balance element in our garden and there should be an existence of the “Water Element.” Meaning to say, we should either have a water fountain or “pond fountains” in our garden for the sake of having one. For me, having pond fountains is great especially like the one in the photo. I’m so excited to see or Garden’s new look. My mom start hiring some workers to help her out in redecorating our garden!

Have you seen Yahoo headline today? Our all time favorite board game, Monopoly got its extreme make over. Instead of the dull square-shaped board game, “Monopoly: Revolution Edition”  is round. Instead of using paper money and plastic tokens, the players will be using debit cars and ATM. In addition to that, there will be a background music in each every action you made. Players can collect $2 million dollars for passing “Go” instead of a mere $200 — practically what the average kid gets for losing a tooth these days. But it’s bound to annoy die-hard fans of the comforting classic version, who might send it directly to jail come next fall.

Game Cheaters will have no place for this Monopoly’s newest version knowing that when it comes to Monopoly, half the fun comes from cheating by stealing from the till when nobody’s lookin. For sure techie younsters will gonna love this new version of Monopoly. I wonder if  “Snakes and Ladders” will have its modern reboot too!

We usually go to malls if I want to hang out with some of my friends. We play arcade games (so childish), having some “videoke” session, and playing our favorite Air Hockey. For those who are not familiar with Air Hockey, it is a game played by 2 players where each of them will try to score a point by opposing other player’s goal.

If only I could have these game tables in our house and if only we have enough space to be occupied by these game tables, I can just invite my friends to come to our house instead of spending our money in going to some shopping malls. I guess I have to convince my mom to buy us one.

My dad went out yesterday so i took it for granted. I took a shot of his collection. My dad loves to collect old peso coins and coins from the country that he has been before. He have peso coins, old dollar coins, euro, yen and dinar! He also have old casino tokens.

He beleived that these coins will get high values in the future and it will be a great investment too.
