Here, i prepared a seafood dish for you guys!Commonly, I used Lapu-lapu fish for this kind of dish. I just made some twist and make use of Tilapia instead Lapu-lapu.
Now here’s how to cook a Sweet and Sour Tilapia
Ingredients:
1 whole Tilapia, about 1.5 kg., scaled and gutted
salt and pepper. You can also vut it into pieces if you want to
1 tbsp. of cornstarch
3 cups of cooking oil for deep frying
For the sweet and sour sauce:
1 cup vinegar
1-1/2 to 2 c. of shaved palm sugar (or dark brown sugar)
½ tsp. of salt
1 tbsp. of very fine strips of ginger
For the garnish:
1 onion, finely sliced
1 small carrot, julienned
a thumb-sized piece of ginger, julienned
1 tbsp. of sesame seed oil
Celery
Make the sweet and sour sauce. Place the vinegar and sugar in a small pan and set over medium heat. Cook without stirring until the sugar dissolves. Swirl the pan and boil over medium heat for 15 to 25 minutes or until syrupy. Add the salt and ginger during the last five minutes of cooking.
While the sauce cooks, prepare the fish. Heat the cooking oil in a wok or frying pan. Pat the fish dry with paper towels. Cut three to four diagonal incisions about half an inch deep on both sides of the fish (what is referred to as “scoring”). Season the fish with salt and pepper, rubbing inside the cavity and incisions. Dust with cornstarch or tapioca starch.
Flip the fish when the underside is done and fry the other side for even cooking and texture. Scoop out the fish and drain on paper towels. Transfer to a serving platter and scatter the prepared garnishes on top. Pour the sweet and sour sauce over the fish and vegetables.

Staying fit and healthy is one of my goals. My mom taught me everything, since I was a kid, all the proper way of taking care of my self. I am a health conscious guy. I choose what I eat, drink and wear. I think first before doing any action. I exercise regular to stay fit and achieved a satisfying body build. I eat vegetables and fruits and other healthy foods which are very important because they are great source of nutrients that we need for our body. Natural vitamins that we can get from the food we eat are great but not enough that is why I take multivitamin supplements to keep my self healthy. We need vitamins as it helps us physically achieving great strength and stamina. Aside from the physical benefits we can get from natural vitamin or vitamin supplements, it can also help us mentally knowing that vitamin plays a very important role in rapid brain developing (for kids) and prevent memory gap. Live a life in a disease-free, happy living and a healthy life style!

I can feel the summer already. One of the indication are the watermelons which are scattered everywhere in the market. While we’re driving on our way to Tagaytay, which is a perfect summer destination, we saw a group of roadside vendors selling a lot of newly harvest watermelons. We took advantage of it and bought some watermelons. You can serve this red watery flesh fruit as a dessert. It is also perfect to mix with your fruit salad together with some other fruits. Just add cream and presto! you have a yummy creamy fruit salad. You can also put this into the blender and add some milk and sugar to have a watermelon-flavored shake.
Watermelon is a great source of lycopene, which is helpful to prevent heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, and even cancer. Watermelon is also a diuretic food which helps prevent kidney-related diseases! Yummy and Healthy!

Having trouble finding an effective way to lose weight? There are actually many effective ways to lose weight. Aside from regular exercise and balanced diet, there are lots of diet aids available in the market to help you out cutting off those calories. Even though there are plenty of diet aids available in the market, not all of them are effective enough to help you. Some have side effects and some may damage your body. Some of them are also imitations and no effect at all. Be wise and be observant in buying products like diet pills. Buying dietary products without any knowledge about it will be very risky. It will be such a waste of time and money if you landed on a wrong item. Try to visit some forums and read some consumer reviews or ask your personal doctor before buying a product. Always remember, be wise and be observant!

Recently, Bread has become a buzz worth among health circles. For most, dietary fiber is found primarily in lean meats and plant food like vegetables, root crops and grains. A good amount of fiber in our diet has been scientifically proven to help prevent certain cardiovascular diseases like heart disease ans high blood pressure. Sufficient fiber intake is also important for a healthy and balanced digestive system. Lack of fiber has been observed in certain cancers of the digestive system including colon cancer. Proper diet and balanced nutrition should pay attention to all sources of dietary fiber. Dietary fiber is either the digestible and non-digestible fibers, like plant fibers and grains, help the body naturally flush or get rid of toxins and other non-essentials that we often ingest through foods.
Among grains p0roduct, bread is probably the most convenient and most available source of dietary fiber. Bread is often listed in the top fiber foods, together with other grains products. The fiber in bread comes from wheat flour, which is the key ingredients in the production of bread. Wheat flour is an excellent source of fiber, and bread contains a significant amount of dietary fiber. By eating breads, Filipinos can actually help correct the fiber inadequacy in their diet and also help them achieve normal bowel movement and normal bowel habits, leading to a healthier, toxin-free body. Help your body flush out toxins by eating bread regularly.

We just had our lunch and here, i took some pictures of one of my favorite seafood Dishes. Well, nothing really special on how to cook fried lobster. Just like prawns, once you achieved a golden red color, you’re done already and it’s ready to serve. It’s perfect with rice. It would be great to prepare a dip sauce. You can mix soy sauce with other basic spices like chopped garlic, onion, chili, and squeezed 1-2 pieces of lime. So there you have it! As simple as that!

This is actually a left over bread yesterday and i just toast it with butter. This is perfect to match up with a hot choco or coffee. I don’t like to waste anything so instead of throwing this out and buying a newloaf of bread, it would be better to toast it and add some scolors and taste into it. I like this with strawberry jam or peanut butter!

I love Rice Cake or in Philppines, it is commonly called as “Puto.” Traditionally, this Filipino native delicasy is cooked by steaming method. Since Rice is an important staple food for Filipino people, Rice is the main ingredient in this dish.
Puto is usually eaten as a dessert, but can also be eaten for breakfast dipped into or paired with a cup of hot coffee or hot chocolate. It tastes mostly like rice but slightly sweeter.
Puto is very easy to cook. Just prepare 2 cups of rice soaked in water over night. Place the puree soaked rice inside a heavy duty blender until it becomes fine. There are ready made rice powder in the market too! Pour the fine blended rice in a bowl then add sugar and 2 tsp of baking powder. Just mix it well and set aside.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add 2 tablespoons sugar to keep the air in the beaten egg whites. Fold the egg whites into the beaten rice batter and pour into muffin pans. Steam for about 20 minutes or until done.
Spread butter on the top of your steamed rice cake until it melts. You can serve this dish with grated coconut or with a filipino dish called “Dinuguan”( if you are familiar with it!
