While trying to dispose some of my unused folders and files on my desktop, i found this old picture of mine and my late grandma. I am such a grandma’s boy and I grew up almost with her that’s why it’s really hard for me to lose her but then again, i have to keep all these negativity away because I’m sure she’s happy now on where she is and I’m sure she’s with my Lolo already and I know that they’re both watching us and guiding us from heaven. My lola is the reason why i was hooked to old school music because we use to listen together to her favorite radio station that plays old songs everyday. I miss you so much Lola and I know guiding me everyday and you’re always there whenever i feel down and lonely. Thanks a lot for all the care and love ^_^  I will always be your most favorite “apo” (grandson) and that will never change!

Well, they said that dolls are lovely, but I’ll take this one as an exception. Well, I found her while cleaning the stock room yesterday. Mom was the owner of this porcelain doll and she was so pleased when i gave it to her. She managed to keep the doll for over decades already and I’m sure the value of it is not a big joke. But judging the doll by appearance, it actually reminds me of those scary movies involving evil dolls haha. Yikes, just look how she stares at me. She’s more like a doll that will kill you while you’re sleeping hahaha. What do yah think about her? Oh by the way, mom told me that her name is Laura. Will you dare have this doll on your bed? Even Mirasol (my sister) refused to have it LOL.

This is my nephew, Francis (Kiko) and he just went to visit us yesterday with his mom. We just had a great bonding moment together. He saw my comics , some of my sketches and my Otaku magazines and asked me if i can teach him how to draw anime. I’m not that good when it comes to Japanese Anime but I’m not that bad either, and so i taught him the basics. Good thing i was able to keep some of my “How To Draw Manga” tutorial magazines and showed it to him. Wow, he was such a great artist. As far as I remember, when i was at his age, i only know how to draw those Stick figures but Kiko was able to draw a nice figure of a man. This kid is so talented so kudos for him! yay!

Remember what happened to AJ Perez, a 22 year-old actor who died at a very young age because of a car accident? Well, this is actually a wake up call to us. What happened to AJ showed us that we cannot control our lives. God can take it away from us even in the most unexpected time or place. We can not predict our future whether you’re young or old, rich or poor, healthy or not, expect the unexpected no matter how great or worst could it be.

It’s true that we cannot prevent those scenarios but at least we can do something to make it less devastating not just for us but for the family that we left. As a bread winner i know how important a life insurance is. This will save my family from all those obligations, debts and other financial responsibilities that will be left to them in case something bad happened to me. Well i know we have to be more optimistic when it comes to this matter, but we have to keep in mind that we always have to practice our practicality. We need insurance to save our family in case we are not here to support them anymore.  I bet you do not want to leave them unprepared right? Better get life insurance now in case you do not have one right now. This is a serious issue and something to ponder about.

According to my horoscope, Dragon people will have good love relationship this year of Rabbit. We will have better chance to find someone that we really like. Well, i’ve been single for more than 2 years now. Well, i just can’t blame myself because i focused more on my career last year. I became so busy with my work and school which makes me set aside other factors like my personal life.

And because of the result of my horoscope, i think i will start to pay more attention to my love life. Who knows? Maybe getting into a serious relationship is in the stars for me this year! But of course i have to focus first on my diet so that if ever i found that girl, i’ll can face her confidently.

Having flabby stomach is such a big turn off so i better start hitting the gym again and cutting off all those calories by minimizing my foods. I think i better start searching for an effective diet pill or maybe i’ll start taking those appetite suppressants like phentermine.

Well, i know that horoscopes are just predictions and they are not 100% true but there’s nothing wrong in believing them. In fact, it can motivate you more to achieve your goals! how about you? Have you read your Horoscope for this year?

My just celebrated her Birthday yesterday and we really had so much fun. Mom turns 50 and since it was her golden birthday, we made it very special to her. It was me and Melvin who thought of inviting all of our relatives which are mostly in the province. Auntie thess is the one who took over the foods and the one who set up the venue is my dad. She was actually very surprised when she saw all the guests. She really not celebrate her birthday as luxurious as this that’s why she’s very happy about it.

Other dishes being served are barbecues, Grilled fish, Pancit and more!

In behalf of my dad and my siblings, thank you mom for everything. We love you and we are very proud to have you as our mom. You’re the best!

I know you noticed recently that i started to become active again in the blogosphere right? Well, that’s because the issue about my Internet Service Provider has been resolved. Actually, i was very frustrated about the connection few weeks ago but i am so glad that it’s working fine now! It took ages before a single web page to load which makes it so difficult to me to make my daily blogging routine. I was actually thinking of switching to another Internet Service Provider at that time.
They dispatched a technician to come over our house and fix the antennas outside. Believe it or not, we also took that opportunity to asked them to fix our disk and our tv antenna so that we can get clear signal once again.
The tv signal went bad when Typhoon Peping hits Cavite and our antennas outside were badly damaged. But right now, everything works fine.

So even though they are the one who started the trouble about my Internet connection issue, they were able to resolve and fix my concern in no time, oh and they were able to fix our cable and tv antennas too.  Thanks A lot!

While i was busy shopping for toys for my nieces and nephews, i saw this huge attraction at the mall. See the couch at the center , beside the reindeers? Santa will be sitting there for the “Meet and Greet Event”

Too bad Milzon and I failed to visit the venue on the given Meet and Greet Date but i was able to take Milzon here the day after the event. Well good thing the decors are still there!

Milzon will be having his first School Camping Activity this coming December and he is very excited about it. The event is a part of the School’s 12th Boyscout  Anniversary . Well, i have been in this kind of event long long time ago and today i will be sharing a checklist of items that a camper should always have.

1. First Aid Kit. Buy a good one which includes the most necessary emergency supplies. Choose one adequate for the size of your group.
2. Rain Gear. Expect some bad weather and be prepared for it. Pack it on top of the other gear or in the outside pockets for quick and easy access.
3. Repair Kit. For temporary fix-ups on tents, packs, cooking gear, etc., include pliers, wire, needles and heavy thread, waterproof or duct-type  tape and safety pins.
4. Flashlight. Do not forget spare bulbs and fresh batteries. A second pocket size flash light for each camper is extra insurance.
5. Maps and Compass. Learn how to use them before you go or they’re just excess baggage. Include topographical maps and road map of area.
6. Extra Clothing. Pack at leat one of two complete changes. Include extra pairs of knit socks, a knit hat ( help conserve body warmth even while sleeping) and handkerchiefs.
7. Stove and Lantern fuel. Without fuel, these items are useless. Check that spare fuel containers are full before you leave civilization behind,
8. Emergency Food. Take easily showtable items that may come in handy- bouillon cubes, high energy survival snack bars etc.
9. Plastic Trash Bags. They carry out what you carried in and are also handy for use as ponchos, sleeping bag covers, temporary waterproofing for boots and bags and legs etc.
10. Whistle,. An essential safety item for all the campers and hikers especially children. It can be sounded effortlessly for hours and heard over great distances.

There you have it. I guess Milzon and I are well prepared for our upcoming Camping trip! See yah!

Promenade or prom in short, is a once in a lifetime opportunity. It is typically held near the end of your junior or senior year. It is a gathering where in, you will have to look for someone who could be you prom date. I remember when i was in high school, my feet are shaking while inviting one of my crushes to come with me at the prom night. It considered it as one of the most memorable days of my high school life. Time is running so fast and i just can’t imagine that my younger sister is now on her Junior year and she will be having her first ever prom date. I heard her and her friends  yesterday talking about their prom dresses and their escorts. It really reminds me of my high school day. I wonder who will be my sister’s prom date.
