A Lesson in Life

Everything is very unpredictable and you can never tell what will happen in the near future. Just like what happen to my uncle who became paralyzed after a horrible car accident. I really felt pity for him and I can feel how hard he’s going through right now. But what makes me more pity is when I found out that he receive no beneficiaries and any support from the company he was working with and even from the government. He paid all the hospital bills using his own service. He never applied for Insurance that is why he has nothing to receive financially from any company as a support to help him recover very soon. It gives us a lesson in life that we should be aware of these insurances and how much we can benefit from it in the near future. I don’t want to waste any of my time and I should better look for insurance quotes that are very reliable and will suits my budget as well. It is better to invest something for my future.

The Artie of Our Family

Ever since i became addicted in watching Glee, i feel like myself and everyone around are already a part of the show. let’s just say i am putting it into reality. And guess what, i always tease my younger Brother as the Artie Abrams Version of our family. Artie is the handicapped member of glee who is very notable for his wheels and his shades. Well, my bro is not on wheels but his eyeglasses and his hair do is almost similar to Artie. here i took this photo without his permission.LOl It’s because he hates me and the way i compared him to Artie.

Happy Graduation!

We are very excited to see my cousin to walk up the stage wearing his black toga. What I am referring here is my cousin’s upcoming graduation day. Graduation day is probably one of the most remarkable days in our life, knowing that after the long road of studying you’ve finally reached the end point. Graduation day is the day when you say goodbye to all those research papers and thesis; no more home works to be done; no more quiz to be taken and no more terror teachers to scold you in every mistakes you did. Because this time, you are going to apply everything that you have learned in the actual life ~ the reality. That is why we are very proud to our cousin to have reached this point. His mom is very supportive. She organizes everything for the upcoming graduation party of his son. We are very lucky enough to received one of graduation invitations that she have distributed. It’s fun because I see my mother to her 3 years ago who’s also very excited in my graduation. Well, we can’t blame our parent to become very proud because they are the one who offered their hard work to raise you well and the one who provide us with proper education. Graduation day is not actually the end point of everything. This is just the start of the new life. We all must ecpect that there’ll be a lot of challenges along his way but just like what they said, “In every challenge we learned and in every failure, we succeed”. Good luck my cousin, I wish all the best for you!

Praying for my Dad’s Sonner Recovery

My dad suffers a lot of pain after his fourth mild stroke. I felt pity for him and how I wish I have a power to cure other people. It all started last year 2000. He’s working as a seaman and he went home for his 2 months vacation. Admittedly, my father is an alcoholic person so I can’t blame the fact that it is all because of vises. One morning, I got a call from my mom stating that my dad is in the hospital because of stroke. Half of my dad’s body was paralyzed. At first, we all thought that my dad will recover from his condition quickly because of his continues medication and therapies but we’re wrong. He got another stroke in year 2001 and 2002 and the recently last February 2010. My dad’s body becomes weaker and weaker. He’s not getting any younger and the pain that he’s experiencing is getting worst. My dad used all his saving and sold most of his properties just to maintain his medication and therapy, hoping that someday he will recover from this nightmare. Unfortunately, my dad does not have any life insurance. He failed to get one while he’s working in his previous company. Meaning to say, my dad will get no benefits from any insurance company for having such a critical illness like this. We’re still not losing hope. We just keep on praying for my dad’s sooner recovery.

Happy 48th Birthday Mom! This post is dedicated only for you! I am so proud and thankful to have a mom like you. You’re always there to support and guide. And in times of trouble, you’re always there to give your advice. I’m sorry if i disobey you sometimes. I love you mom and you’re the best mom in the world!

I baked this cake for my mom with the help of my cousin Jenny. Sorry for the blur photos guys. My camera is not cooperating to me. I think i have to take it and have the technician check it.

Aspiring Hero

This is my youngest brother Milzon. He loves to watch cartoons and anime, no wonder why his posing like this in front of camera. He told me that he is a “Super Saian”. It is a hero character in the anime “Dragon Ball Z”. Look how cute he is! We’re just hoping that her older sister wouldn’t caught this pictures because she will surely be angry to us knowing that we used her bandana without her permision LOL

A Motorcycle Accident

I remember it was year 2008 when my Uncle Stewart was involved in a motorcycle accident that changed his life forever. It was his motorcycle that, reportedly, hit the car ahead to him. I know my Uncle and I know how disciplined he is. He loves his motorcycle so much and he also participates in some motorcycle events but because of an accident, everything changed. Because of that accident, he lost his licensed and prohibits him to drive anymore. Many witness told that it was the car driver’s fault but because the car driver is no other than the son of the city’s councilor, my Uncle failed to won the case. I felt so bad about it and it seems that my Uncle’s rights were taken from him. If only he have hired a professional motorcycle accident lawyer to help him achieve his justice and fight for his rights. I know it’s not too late for this, that’s why we still encourage our Uncle to pursue the case and fight for his right.

My Niece’s Baptismal

My niece Zhey Zhey Bolauro had her baptismal today and unfortunately, I failed to attend the entire baptismal ceremony. I told her parents, a day before, that I cannot attend the ceremony since I have lots of works to do in my office and I have to finish them in time. However, I gave her my blessings in advance. After my work, they all went to my house together with my lovely niece to give a little and cute even memorabilia.

Each sponsors and relatives who attended the baptismal ceremony received this gift, a cuddly teddy bear in a small basket which is very cute and very ideal to display inside my room. I promised my niece that I will be organizing a party for her very first birthday. I am very happy for my sister for having such a lovely daughter like Zhey Zhey. I wonder when I will become a father too. If that would happen, I will surely give her/him an unforgettable party. I make sure that I will be organizing the event; I will personally send birth announcements to all the invited guests and a whole lot exciting events. I will look forward to it in the near future!

My Mom’s Facial Care

My mom is acting weird today! I noticed her earlier facing the mirror while applying some of her facial cream. Well, I know that it is quite normal for a woman to apply some facial care products on their faces but I noticed her getting more and more frustrated everyday so I dare to ask her. She told me that she began to notice her sagging skin despite of applying facial cream and anti-aging skin care products onto her face in a regular basis. She knows that she’s not getting any younger and sagging of skin is quite normal for her age but that is what facial skin care products are for! They should make this sagging skin less visible. I told her maybe the product is not that effective for her and try to search some best day creams online or she can consult a dermatologist to help her out on what facial product she should use.
