Finally, Celebrities who will battle out for the next Survivor Title was officially revealed.The reality show will be named as Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Doubles Showdown and  is the fourth season of the said  franchise here in the Philippines. This season has a very unique approach compared to the previous seasons, As what the subtitle suggests celebrities were grouped or paired as couples with preexisting relationships. Richard Gutierrez will be reprising his role as the main host of the game and the grand prize is still 3 million pesos .The show was entirely shot in San Vicente, Palawan. and this will be the first time for the franchise that the show was filmed entirely within the host country. Here are the 10 pairs of castaways;

I am pretty excited for this upcoming season and I’m sure, it would be a bigger blast than last season.

From  a blasting week, Glee went back to  another “so so” episode and is considered as one of the lowest rating Glee had ever received despite of the fact that The Glee Project Winner, Damian McGinty had his first appearance on the show. As a  matter of fact, the story centers around Damian and his role as Rory Flanagan,an Irish exchange student and is  being bullied in School. He used to wear Green clothes and pretend that he’s the Leprechaun to  Brittany who really believes  in him.

Rory has a crush on Brittany, goes along with this as she has promised to let him into her “pot o’ gold” if he grants her three wishes. Her first is for an all-marshmallow box of Lucky Charms, which is easily accomplished, and her second is for her cat, Lord Tubbington, to “poop candybars,” which is easily faked.

Rory had his  first  solo and also the first song of the episode when  he sing “Bien Green” which is a song usually performed in Sesame Street by Kermit the frog.

Meanwhile,  Quinn and Puck offered to baby sit Beth for Shelby.  They tried to sabotage Shelby by placing things that will make Shelby look like an unfit mother. Puck later makes an excuse to return and gather up the items. Puck sang “Waiting For A Girl Like You” by the Foreigner.

Sue Sylvester found her newest rivalry in the nature of Burt Hummel who will also run in Congress to oppose Sue.

Mercedes was able to convinced Santana and Brittany to leave New Directions and Join Shelby’s all girl group. The girls performed a lovely rendition of “Candyman” by Christina Aguilera.

Rory claimed to Brittany that he has fulfilled her third wish, but she chastises him, saying that Finn’s feelings clearly were hurt by the defection and that she now knows leprechauns are not real. Later, when Rory is being harassed by bullies, Finn comes to his rescue and invites him to join New Directions, where he auditions with the song “Take Care of Yourself”.

Surprisingly,at the end of the show, Puck and Shelby are shown kissing.

Yikes! This is very late review for Glee Season 3 Asian F episode. There’s nothing much to offer in last episode (I Am Unicorn) but it turns out the opposite way because the Asian F episode is by far the best episode of the season.  The audition for the West Side Story continues so as the candidacy for the School President.

Mike Chang was the main feature in this episode. It all started when Mike receives an “A−” on a chemistry exam which is equivalent to Asian F which makes his Dad so upset, blaming the New Directions and Mike’s girlfriend Tina Cohen. He insisted Mike to focus more on his studies and give up glee club and Tina as well.

Mercedes on the other hand auditions for the role of Maria, competing against Rachel Berry.

She sang “Spotlight” by Jennifer Hudson, giving her a big chance to ace the role for Maria.

Mean while, Kurt is too confident that he will win the candidacy for the school , underestimating his opponent Brittany. However, Brittany tried to promote her candidacy by singing a rousing song of female empowerment ‘Run the World” by Beyonce which received high praise from the critics.

Brittany was well accepted by the school most especially the entire female population at McKinley which worries Kurt a  lot.

For  the very first time, Mike performed a solo song for the role of Riff. He performed “Cool”, an original piece from West Side Story. He decided to pursue the audition despite of his dad’s insistent to focus more on his studies. Mike was able to get the role of Riff.

Blaine got the role for Tony but both Rachel and Mercedes got a callback to help the judges decide who should be cast in the role. Mercedes is angry about what she perceives as continued favoritism shown to Rachel, especially in the awarding of solos, and when Will pushes her in the glee club’s extra dance rehearsals that Rachel is excused from, she decides she has had enough and quits glee club.

As for  the call back, Rachel and Mercedes performed “Out Here On My Own” by Irene Cara” but  the judges decided to have both of them to play Maria,  dividing them into  separate  performances. Marcedes refuses  the role and quit New Directions and decided to join Shelby voluntarily.

Meanwhile, Will met Emma’s parents and discovered something behind Emma’s past and her OCD as well. Will  comforted Emma and joined her as she prays. Will performed Cold Play”s Fix You

Sorry for my very late post, this review was supposed to be posted the day after the Glee Season 3 Episode 1 Aired but because of typhoon Pedring, all my scheduled post messed up. Anyway, Late is better than never so here’s what you missed on Glee (LOL)…

“The Purple Piano Project” Episode is the first offering of Glee but the ratings are not so satisfying compared to the pilot episode of the previous season. It seems that Glee went back to basic, featuring notable songs from different Broadway musicals including “Anything Goes” and Ding-Dong! The Witch Is Dead”.

Once again, The New Directions is in need of new members. From 13, they ent down to ten members, losing Sam Evans who moved out of State, Lauren Zizes who quit Glee after being defeated in Regionals last Season. Quinn Fabray, surprisingly reinvented herself with pink hair, a nose ring, and a tattoo, taken up smoking, and has made friends with a group of outcast girls called the Skanks. She refuses to rejoin either the Cheerios or New Directions.

Now in order to recruit new talents, Will Schuester decided to establish the so called “Purple Piano Project“. encourages the club to sing whenever they see one.

The Glee club members performed “We Got The Beat” (originally performed by The Go-Gos) hoping to encourage other talents to join the club, but it ends up in a food fight.

The episode also introduced some new characters including Mercedes new boyfriend Shane and a glee club hopeful, Sugar Motta. It really surprised me after she horribly sang the version of “The Big Spender“. She introduces herself confidently but can’t even sing in tune. Both Shane and Sugar will be recurring characters in this season.

Kurt and Rachel see Emma about their plans to attend college in New York City. She suggests they consider a top school for the dramatic arts there, and the two of them attend an Ohio “mixer” for students interested in applying. They have rehearsed “Ding-Dong! The Witch Is Dead“, expecting to overawe the other attendees, but are instead intimidated by their performance of an “Anything Goes” and “Anything You Can Do” mash-up led by Harmony. Harmony is played by Lindsay Pearce (the runner up of the recently held Glee Project).

Another high light of this episode is Blaine Aderson. He decided to leave The Warblers and join The New Directions for Kurt. He performed It’s Not Unusual in to a large crowd in the school courtyard while a growing number of Cheerios, directed by Santana, join in as back-up dancers. As the number is ending, the Cheerios circle the purple piano, each sprinkling it with lighter fluid. Quinn flicks her lit cigarette onto the piano, and it bursts into flames. Will Schuester is aware that Santana sabotaged them and he banned her from the club.

Overall, despite of the season’s low ratings, The Purple Piano Project Episode is a great season Starter.

I’m really fascinated to Japanese Anime. I know i’m 22 years old now and it’s kinda inappropriate to be addicted into this kind of stuff but i just can’t help it, Anime inspired me a lot. Most of my drawings and even my own comics are inspired from them. Here i got some “how To draw manga” tutorial magazines, some dvds, mangas and more anime related magazine. My favorite would Naruto and Bleach and all those animes from the 90′s including Ghost Fighter, Flame of Recca, Lupin III and more. I used to read manga online too and I’m always updated with the latest chapters so as with the latest episodes of my favorite animes. Believe it or not, i can spend my whole day watching animes. hahaha Do i need to enter a rehab or something to overcome this addiction? LOL

Have you heard about the PotterMore website released by JK Rowling? It is circulating now on the web now so i guess most of you are aware of the site. I’m not sure what’s going on but i bet JK Rowling is planning to release something great after her very successful Novel. I’m actually excited for the upcoming Harry Potter film and I just watched the latest trailer of the film. I have read the last book and I know what’s gonna happen but it is nice to see the film adaptation right?

Anyway, back the Pottermore.com site, there’s nothing really special on the site. You can see owls sitting on 2 separate branches and there’s the “Coming Soon” message on the middle (with JK Rownling name and signature below). You can’t navigate the site and there’s nothing to be clicked except for the owls that will take you to a Youtube channel. The video shows a countdown before the much awaited announcement from JK Rowling. According to Yahoo News, there is nothing to deal with the upcoming Film. So what do you think? Another book? A prequel or some untold stories? How bout a Harry Potter game? An online shop showcasing Harry Potter’s exclusive memorabilia? We will about to find out. There are five more days left before the announcement! Cheers

Have you watched the Season 2 Finale of Glee last night? Oh God! That was really great and it is much better than the Season 1 finale! They sang original songs here including the song performed by our very own Charice. She sang “As Long As You’re There” as the masterpiece of Vocal Adreneline for the Nationals. She really did great! Not to mention her very much improved acting skills. Too bad, this is her last appearance on Glee but who knows? Maybe she’ll make guess appearances again on the third season just like Jesse St James did. Anyway, back to the New Directions, once again, they lost the competition and unfortunately, they have to start again from scratch. They ranked Top 12, making them not qualified to advance to the next level of the competition. Well, Season 3 is one it’s way now. I bet they’ll be on hiatus for awhile but will make a big come back. Really exciting doesn’t it? By The way, in case you’ve missed Charice’ “As Long As You’re There” Performance, here’s a Youtube Video Clip. I hope the video works.

What? Haley Reinhart is out? It Can’t be! I am not a big Haley fan but judging the three remaining Idols especially their last performances last Thursday , only Haley shows versatility. Okay! Scotty and Lauren are both awesome but they can’t sing anything other than country! Can they sing Jazz, blues, pop, and the Zappelin Song? Maybe they can but they can’t sing better than what Haley did last performance night! But then again, it is too late to regret it and we can do nothing about it. Let’s just accept the fact that Lauren and Scotty has a huge fan base and their fans will surely fight for their Idols. Well, it seems that we are going to have a Country Finale huh? Who’s better? Scotty or Lauren? Personally, i’ll go for Scotty. He’s awesome and i can tell know that he can really sing well after his last performance on Idol! Though we cannot underestimate Lauren too. I am so excited for the upcoming Finale and I am so excited to see the Top 12 Idols to perform again on stage. Cool!

Do you collect Harry Potter Books? Actually I don’t read any kind of novels but i was forced to since my cousin gave this Harry Potter book 2 weeks ago. It is the seventh and the last book of Harry Potter. Okay, i am a big fan of Harry Potter Film series but never had a chance to read the books so it is pretty challenging for me to read every chapters knowing that there are some characters in the story that i am not familiar too unless i will search it online and check who are they in the film. Right now, i am on the half way of the book and i already encountered some scenes that was not revealed yet in the film. Well i guess after reading this novel, i have now the right to compare the film on the actual book. Usually, my friends were discussing about it after each and every Harry Potter film and i simply can’t relate to them. Good thing i will not be out of place after we watch the upcoming HP movie. I will not dare spoil the scenes so you better watch it or read it on your own risk LOL. have a great day guys and happy blogging!

Jericho Rosales’ first ever international Film entitled “Subject: I Love You”. Is it hot or not? Of course that’s Hot! We must be very proud of this knowing that another guy from the Philippines is making his way to the international movie scenes. Subject: I Love You, is a film based on a true story. As you recall, May 2000, a virus successfully attacked tens of millions of Windows computers in 2000 when it was sent as an attachment to an email message with the text “ILOVEYOU” in the subject line. The worm originated in the Philippines on 4 May 2000 and spread across the world in one day, moving on to Hong Kong and then to Europe and the US, causing an estimated $5.5 billion in damage. By 13 May 2000, 50 million infections had been reported. Most of the damage cited was the time and effort spent getting rid of the worm. I don’t know if this will make me proud or what but this one surely gives me goosebumps.

Anyway, the film Subject: I Love You will be top billed by our very own Jericho Rosales together with other foreign actors including “Step Up 2′s” Briana Evigan. Dean Cain of “Lois and Clark,” Dante Basco of “Hook,” Kristin Bauer of “True Blood”, Joel Torre, Gary Valenciano and Black Eyed Peas singer Apl De Ap. I have heard that this film was two years in the making.
