Are you familiar with the RRR concept? RRR stands for “Reuse, Reduce and Recycle”. I’m sure you guys are aware about this because it is being taught to us since we’re in grade school. But of course, we should not just keep those knowledge in our mind, we should also implement them and apply in real life. After all, we are also the one who will benefit from it in return.

Recycling materials is a very interesting activity. We just have to be very resourceful and use a little bit of our creativity, I’m sure you’ll end up creating a brand new material out of nothing. I am pretty impressed by those creative inventions that are made from trash. Recycling will actually help you in so many ways! Aside from allowing you to express your creativity and artistic personality, it helps you to save your money and it will also help our suffering mother nature.

I was watching a noon time show awhile ago and they are so proud to mention this “Plastic ni Juan” project. They collect plastic bottles from different Barangays and they recycle them to make plastic chairs which will be donated to their chosen public schools. It is a great idea indeed because aside from helping the environment, they are also helping other people through this charity movement.

It reminds me of my school project before where in we gathered some old news papers and magazines and started making some paper mache. Same thing goes with our SK project where the chairman bought some  used steel drums and make them as trash cans. Actually, the steel drum, specially the stainless one can be reused again. These drums can be recycled and can be used again as a storage container for liquids, most especially those dangerous and hazardous chemicals.

I have a sensitive teeth and I’ve been complaining about this painful sensation every time i drink or eat something extremely cold and hot.
Just like last time when my mom bought us an ice cream. I just can’t eat it because my teeth is reacting so fast and it’s really painful. Actually even when i drink a cold water, sometimes, i have to take a straw to sip it just to avoid that painful teeth reaction.
The only way to keep myself away from that painful reaction is by using this special toothpaste made just for sensitive teeth. Right now, I’m using this Colgate Pro-Active which is quite expensive compare to the normal brands, (And i think Colgate should commend me for promoting them in this blog LOL)
Anyway, it is really effective though the result will not last for long and i have to brush my teeth again after it loses the effect. This kind of painful sensation started when i had this pasta (it’s more like teeth jacket) . I think I better consult dentist for a permanent solution for this.

We should always apply the so called 3Rs concept in our house. Reuse, Reduce, Recycle is indeed the most effective ways to help and save our suffering environment. We used to practice this 3Rs concept and we’re very proud of it. Just like what we did in this moon cake box. It was given to us by a friend last Chinese New Year and we kept it because we know we can make something out of it.

The process should not be that complicated. In fact, you can just use it as is. What we did here is we put our color pencils and other school writing materials inside. A nice place to keep my things more organized and neat.

So simple and resourceful right? Now look over your house and check some items that can be reused and recycled. Let’s help mother nature by practicing the 3Rs concept.

I have here below are 8 useful tips on how to relieve headaches. Take note that this is not a permanent cure. Keep in mind that headache, especially when it attacks you repeatedly, may be a sign of another health problems and you should contact your family doctor for check ups.

7. Develop the capacity of empathy. Remember that  there are people all around you with worse problems than your own.
8. Find a pleasant relaxing hobby, preferably something non-competitive but also involving physical activity.

I’m sure most of you are aware now about the massive fish kill recently happened in Batanggas right? Well, we ca do nothing about that as of this moment knowing that the massive killing is caused by the sudden climate change. Let the government do their jobs to clear this issues. But then we can’t deny the fact that there are some people who are taking advantage of this situation. They still sell this double dead fishes over the market. The worst, they are distributing this over the country. And so we have to be aware. As a shopper, you should know how to determine whether a fish is double dead or not.

You should doubt when the gills are paled in color. Remember that fresh fishes usually has red gills. Don’t buy if the eyes are reddish or blur in color. The scales of double dead fish are no longer shiny. You can also determine if the fish is double dead or not by pressing it. If the flesh is soft, then it might be double dead fish. ‘

Eating double-dead fish can cause diarrhea and food poisoning so we have to be aware. As much as possible try to avoid eating fish as soon as the issue about the fish kill resolved

There is no such thing as safe road and accident can happen anytime but you can lessen the risk by following these tips if you are driving at night.

►Lower you speed because distances are harder to judge at nighttime.

►Make sure all lights and signals are operating.

►Dim Dashboard Lights.

►Never drive with parking lights. They confuse approaching drivers.

►Turn on Lights at first hint of dusk.

►Keep headlights on low beam when driving directly behind another vehicle and when approaching another vehicle.

►Avoid highway “hypnosis” on long trips by keeping eyes moving. Check Traffic in all directions and do not stare on any single object for prolonged periods.

►Be prepared. Pedestrians and objects are more difficult to see at night.

►And the most important of all, Never drive under the influence of Alcohol!

There are so many reasons behind Child Abuse. It is said that parents who physically abuse their spouses are more likely than others to physically abuse their children. Unemployment and Financial Difficulties are also considered as major contributing factors why parent or guardian abused their child. I was watching the GMA news earlier when i saw this horrible news about a ” hit and run” incident involving a Truck driver and the poor 84 years old Lady. Well, according to the news, the lady was accidentally hit by this over-speeding driver. The driver actually took the lady on his truck and of course, i assumed, all the people who witnessed the crime thought that the driver will be sending the lady to the nearest hospital but it turns out differently. The driver took the poor victim on an abandoned lot and the Police officers found the lady dead. Now, the family of the victims are desperately wanting to achieve the justice that their mom deserves.

Well, good to know that there are people who was able to witness the crime because if no one saw the exact event, that would be very difficult for the police to trace the suspect.

My Auntie who is now on Texas, was able to watch the news too through her tv cable service. She told me that the family of the victim should do something to fight for their rights. She even mentioned something about the Texas truck accident lawyer that they can hire if ever the same situation occurs.I’m sure we have the same kind of service here too. I had a chance to watch the Born Expedition last Wednesday where Kiko Rustia and Doc Ferdz is about to take the 2 weeks expedition in two different location. Kiko went to Palawan, attempting to sight a very rare type of dolphin called Irrawaddy Dolphin. They were able to see some dolphins and which is kinda rare to happened. According to Wikipedia, Irrawaddy dolphins communicate with clicks, creaks and buzzes at a dominant frequency of about 60 kilohertz which is thought to be used for echolocation. Bony fish and fish eggs, cephalopods, and crustaceans are taken as food. Mean while, Doc Ferdz took a very risky expedition entitled “Snake King” where in he aims to seek for the different kinds of Snakes especially the King Cobra in Cataduanes.
