Using Charcoal Stove

Charcoal stove is one of the traditional equipment used for cooking that is still being used by most developing countries including the Philippines.  As what the term suggests, the stove uses charcoal to cook foods. It is different from barbeque grill but almost identical to it. It is mostly used in some of the provinces here in the Philippines or people who can afford Gas stove. We also have a charcoal stove at home and we used it occasionally especially if a certain dish needs to be boiled in a long period of time.

They said that it can cook or soften the meat evenly. It produces a distinct taste too for your meal that no other dishes cooked in gas stove can offer. On top of that, it is very inexpensive too. The charcoal stove is usually made from either cement or ceramics and usually placed outdoors. The use of charcoal however is not as environmental friendly but there are recently developed charcoal stoves that produces no smoke which is very ideal at home. Nevertheless, we still use the traditional charcoal stove along with our gas stove because there can never been better than the traditional way of cooking.
