My mom used to remind me how important the education is. She used to explain why is education important and what are the benefits we could gain from it in return. It is the best treasure that my parents can offer to us that’s why they tried their best for us to finish our college despite of some financial problems that we have. Even though I failed to finish my education because I decided to focus more on my work, I still have that passion to pursue my college in the near future. However, we have to keep in mind guys that college is just a platform for us to get the degree that we want but as far as the learning is concern, we can always acquire new knowledge by simply exploring things out of our so called curiosity.
Learning is a process and it should progress continuously. Once you finished your College, it doesn’t mean that you stop learning at all. You should continue to explore knowledge and discover something new. Remember when we were kids in which we keep on throwing silly and non-sense questions because we are curious about them and we’re eager to learn more about them. Remember those moments that we’ve asked questions like why do birds fly and humans don’t or why do cats purr whenever you stroke them? Most of these questions will be answered through our Academic classes while others will be answered directly by our parents. Just like what they say, history will keep on repeating itself so you’re kids might asked the same questions to you and you have to be prepared for it.
Just keep on reminding your kids that if they are confused or if they want to know more about a certain thing, then they should ask or raise their questions without any hesitations. After all, asking questions is not a stupidity. It doesn’t mean you’re dumb and in fact, asking questions is a sign of intelligence. Parents must be responsible for entertaining their kids’ questions whether how simple or complicated they are. Kids might ask you questions like why does it rain or where do storms and thunder coming from. These might sound simple but they are actually too complicated to explain so you might want to encourage your kids to read their books more often.
Knowing all these things, it is undeniably true that education is a necessity and is something that people can’t live without. Just like what Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world“
