Sorry guys for a veyr late update about Glee… I was just too busy with my job hunting last week and now, i am trying to adjust with my new job and the new working schedule . I will post about my job hunting experience by the end of this month but for the meantime, I want to share a recap post of Glee Season 3 Episode 2 entitled “I am Unicorn”. There’s nothing really special with the episode except for Idina Menzel’s reprisal of her role as Shelby Corcoran.
Shelby is no longer the director of Vocal Andrenaline. She is now a part of Mckinley High as a teacher and as a private vocal mentor for Sugar Motta. Shelby reaches out to Rachel, Puck and Quinn. She lets Puck see Beth, but rejects Quinn’s desire to do likewise due to Quinn’s bad-girl attitude, appearance and behavior.
The Glee Club is about to do a West Side Story to be directed by Artie. Rachel and Kurt aimed to be a part of the show as Maria and Tony.
Shelby approached her biological Daughter, Rachel to sing “Somewhere”. They did a duet together which is more like a replay of their “Poker” duet version.
Kurt on the other hand initially performed “I’m the Greatest Star” for the role of Tony. However, Artie and his fellow judges Shannon Beiste and Emma we’re not really convinced because the role Tony is more of a manly thing and Kurt is not so suitable for that manly performance.
Trying to prove that he can do the role of Tony effectively, he performed another sole with Rachel portraying Romeo and Juliet but the Artie and the rest of the judges including Rachel were unable to suppressed their laughter at Kurt’s acting, leaving Kurt quite disappointed.
Surprisingly, in order to get Beth back, Quinn pretended to act that she has changed, leaving her bad behavior and the Skunks behind.
Mean while, Blaine audition for a supporting role just to avoid competing with Kurt even though he is much more deserving and suitable for the role of Tony
