Proper Using of Pesticides

It was a shocking day yesterday when we have heard that our neighbor’s 3 year old son died because of food poisoning. It was said that the kid played her mom’s plant pesticide and drunk it accidentally. the kid was rushed to the nearest hospital but failed to survive. I really felt so bad and i just can’t imagine how careless her parents are in leaving such plant pesticide in a place where children can reach it. As a parent, you should be responsible in this kind of matter. The first thing that you have to consider is to pay attention with the labels. You should always read the labels and follow the direction and precautions written on it. Store pesticide in closed, well labeled containers where children or pets cannot reach them. Do not store it under the sink, in the pantry, or in the medicine cabinet. Do not store them near food of any kind. Store application equipments such us sprayers and other gadgets as you do pesticides in the place where children cannot reach. Do not apply pesticides than the label recommends. Overdose is wasteful and may be dangerous. When opening a liquid pesticide container, keep your face away from  and to one side of the cap or lid.
