The Karate Kid

Just done watching “Karate Kid” on dvd yesterday and i must say that i really had so much fun watching such a great movie. The Karate kid is a remake of a 1980′s film and if we compare both of the movies, nothing’s really different. I love the 1980′s version played by Ralph Macchio. However, the remake has a good story line too. They changed a bit of the story changing Daniel LaRusso’s character to Dre Parker. The setting was taken to China and show all of its amazing landmarks including the most notable “great wall of china”. The 80′s version was a commercial success upon release, and garnered favorable critical acclaim, earning Pat Morita an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. They also change Pat Morita’s character ~ Mr Miyagi to Mr Han who is being played by Jackie Chan. Overall, i love both films and i enjoy watching them. Will there be another installment of this movie? i hope so.
