This is my youngest brother Milzon. He loves to watch cartoons and anime, no wonder why his posing like this in front of camera. He told me that he is a “Super Saian”. It is a hero character in the anime “Dragon Ball Z”. Look how cute he is! We’re just hoping that her older sister wouldn’t caught this pictures because she will surely be angry to us knowing that we used her bandana without her permision LOL

I am sick of my desktop computer. It’s giving me a hard time because it runs very slow which is very frustrating. I guess the memory is not enough to support all my activities. I have lots of games installed in my Pc and I think that’s one of the factors why it runs so slow. My mom told me to buy netbook so I can bring it anywhere. She told me not to install any games in the netbook so I can browse and surf faster. The problem is, of all the available netbooks in the store, which is the best? I know there are so many brands like Acer, HP and Toshiba but which will suit me the best? I find Acer quite nice and less expensive so I guess I can deal with it. It’s time to say goodbye to my beloved desktop and say hello to the netbook. Oh my, I am so excited to have one.

They told me it’s durable. They told me that it is well tested but look at my 3 weeks old fan. I just broke it unintentionally last Monday. I was having a general cleaning in my house when i drop the fan in the floor. I am not expecting a disastrous outcome like this! it’s horrible! Now i have to buy another one which costing me a lot. Well. it teaches me something, never buy a product without proper observation. Check first if there’s a warranty so if ever there’s a failure, you can return the product for repair or replacement.

I remember it was year 2008 when my Uncle Stewart was involved in a motorcycle accident that changed his life forever. It was his motorcycle that, reportedly, hit the car ahead to him. I know my Uncle and I know how disciplined he is. He loves his motorcycle so much and he also participates in some motorcycle events but because of an accident, everything changed. Because of that accident, he lost his licensed and prohibits him to drive anymore. Many witness told that it was the car driver’s fault but because the car driver is no other than the son of the city’s councilor, my Uncle failed to won the case. I felt so bad about it and it seems that my Uncle’s rights were taken from him. If only he have hired a professional motorcycle accident lawyer to help him achieve his justice and fight for his rights. I know it’s not too late for this, that’s why we still encourage our Uncle to pursue the case and fight for his right.

I can feel the summer already. One of the indication are the watermelons which are scattered everywhere  in the market. While we’re driving on our way to Tagaytay, which is a perfect summer destination, we saw a group of roadside vendors selling a lot of newly harvest watermelons. We took advantage of it and bought some watermelons. You can serve this red watery flesh fruit as a dessert. It is also perfect to mix with your fruit salad together with some other fruits. Just add cream and presto! you have a yummy creamy fruit salad. You can also put this into the blender and add some milk and sugar to have a watermelon-flavored shake.

Watermelon is a great source of lycopene, which is helpful to prevent heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, and even cancer. Watermelon is also a diuretic food which helps prevent kidney-related diseases! Yummy and Healthy!

Sorry guys if I failed to update my blog these past few days, I really felt so bad and I just want to lay on my bed the whole day and night. I got cough and colds and it’s very irritating. I took medicine to make me, somehow, feel better. I filed a leave of absence to my office so I can take rest for a week. While I’m enjoying my week-long vacation, I realized one thing that worried me a lot. How if I get a serious illness of disease (hopefully not)? What will I do? Who will pay all my medical expenses? Is my budget fit enough to shoulder everything? I actually asked my mom about this and she advised me to get a health insurance or it would be great to get a health savings account because it is simpler but way better than insurance. I’ve been working since 17 so I guess I am qualified enough to have a health savings account. I don’t want to take the risk of not getting insurance or a savings account because I know I will just regret it in the end.

Our very own Amanda Evora placed 10th in the 2010 Winter Olympics at Vancouver, Canada together with his partner Mark Ladwig. Evora and Ludwig were chosen to represent the United States at the 2010 Winter Olympics where they earn silver medals. Although Filipino-American Amanda Evora and her partner Mark Ladwig were on top of the standings early in the short course and free skate programs in the Winter Olympics  figure skating competition at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, Canada and eventually finished in tenth place,   they delivered an impressive performance but fell way behind the medal winners. Evora was born in New York, New York. Her family moved to Houston in 1995. Before that, they had lived in Bahrain, Dallas, and Virginia. She is Filipino-American. Both Evora and Ladwig show amazing heart and soul beyond the technical skills.

My dad is a cigarette lover and I think he consumed almost 4 packs of cigarettes daily. We always advised him to take it easy because consuming cigarettes too much is very dangerous for his health. We’re glad there are some advertisements that provide awareness to all cigarette users. Aside from this major health issues, we also have some minor problems like the disgusting smell that a cigarette smoke could bring not just to its user but also to its second smokers like us. It is also a bit messy because of the ashes scattered everywhere. It is also costing my dad too much knowing that his buying 4 packs of cigarette daily. I think it’s about time to do something about it. We know the fact that we cannot let my dad stop taking cigarettes but we know we can make something about it. Luckily, a friend told us about the electronic cigarette and the advantage of using it. Electronic cigarettes or e-Cigarettes are battery-powered cigarettes that produce more smoke and puffs without living any mess. It doesn’t produce any bad smell like what the normal cigarette does. This will help my dad to save money since he does not have to buy packs of cigarettes daily because the cigarettes’ batteries are rechargeable. This is the start of a new change.
