Honesty is different from loyalty. You cannot measure honesty just by being loyal to your friends and keeping their deepest secrets because the fact that you lied to someone shows not being honest to everyone. I remember a Jim Carey Movie where the story revolves around a man who cannot do anything but to tell the truth. A lot of people felt so bad and so embarrassed to that man because of telling the truth frankly. The main character in this movie was under a curse where he can never tell a lie no matter how hard for him to tell the truth to somebody.
Honesty is very confusing. We do not know when or where to apply it or is it necessarily to apply Honestly in our everyday life. Most people said that “It is hard to accept the truth”. For me, yes it does! It is hard to accept that all of us will die soon, that most people suffered from illness with no cure or possible remedies, that most counties were very much affected by the global financial crisis and most people are striving for hunger.
Now lets go back with our main topic, we all knew that we couldn’t be honest to somebody if we didn’t learn how to be honest for ourselves. In connection to this, I know many of you knew what we called “white lies” Let me give you a simple scenario:
“there were two friends and the other one is asking if she looks perfect with the dress that she’s wearing. The other one find it not so good for her friend and she notices that her friend were expecting her to answer a big YES . Because she does not want to offend her friend, instead of saying a hard NO she simply answered her friend YES.”. This is a simple scenario but a good example of White Lie. Remember that even in the bible, there was a scene, that Peter lied three times as Jesus asked Peter to deny him.
For me, no matter it is a white lie or you are lying with bad intentions, WE ARE STILL LYING and no matter how many times we did it, we will all face the consequence in which in the end of all lies, the truth will come out

Many sinful thought and desire was brought into us by our curiosity to see things. This fault draw us towards the dangerous attractions of the world. The memories stores up pictures a part of us.
By reasonable control of our eyes we will find it easier to keep in touch with God throughout the day. External temptations will not reach our eyes so easily. There will be fewer sinful thoughts and desire will disturb our peace of soul. Many Temptations come because of our failure to control our eyes.
This lack of control is not due to carelessness or laziness.Sometimes we look at an object to get at least a partial enjoyment of what is forbidden. This was simply another compromise in which we try to serve two masters—one is our unreasoning natural desires and the other……God.
Sometime we tire of God’s company just because we are not enjoying what he commanded to us. At such times we will seek to escape from ourselves by a freer use of our eyes.God do not begrudge a reasonable need to freshen our spirits with a change of scenery, a new outlook, or new ideas. God merely warn us against too free and easy a use of our eyes.
Often what we really need is to renew our good intentions and our motives for serving God.
What is good in continually seeing new sights???
well, they distract us from our natural goal. Desire only enough change to improve the quality of our good works and prayers.
Worldly people continually run away from themselves and feeding their curiosity. A man of God seeks to keep him the glorious purpose of his daily life—–to gain heaven. He controls his curiosity because it decreases his self control and disturbs his contact with God.
