After we have overcome our faults, we can never be sure when will they arose or flare up again and make us offend God. We must try to face situations in which we can practice Virtues opposed to our faults. For those who are impatient, you should look for opportunities to practice Patience. So too with your other faults you have. Only action will prove what faults we have and which Virtues we need. A man who is afraid of inconvinience or suffering will never advance in virtue. He lacks the courage to face the unpleasant situation which can strengthen his virtue. We must face those unpleasant situations like suffering from illness, poverty and more and must deal with them As God want us to do. While Dealing with those situations, we should be unselfish, or humble, or patient and should not fear to suffer as God is always with us every now and then. Remember that Jesus choose to suffer and sacrifice to pay for our sins.

rice cake by you.
I love Rice Cake or in Philppines, it is commonly called as “Puto.”  Traditionally, this Filipino native delicasy is cooked by steaming method. Since Rice is an important staple food for Filipino people, Rice is the main ingredient in this dish.
Puto is usually eaten as a dessert, but can also be eaten for breakfast dipped into or paired with a cup of hot coffee or hot chocolate. It tastes mostly like rice but slightly sweeter.
Puto is very easy to cook. Just prepare 2 cups of rice soaked in water over night. Place the puree soaked rice inside a heavy duty blender until it becomes fine. There are ready made rice powder in the market too! Pour the fine blended rice in a bowl then add sugar and 2 tsp of baking powder. Just mix it well and set aside.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add 2 tablespoons sugar to keep the air in the beaten egg whites. Fold the egg whites into the beaten rice batter and pour into muffin pans. Steam for about 20 minutes or until done.
Spread butter on the top of your steamed rice cake until it melts. You can serve this dish with grated coconut or with a filipino dish called “Dinuguan”( if you are familiar with it!

pineapple by you.
Philippines is a tropical country that’s why a tropical fruit like Pineapple is very common to find. Pineapple is eaten fresh and perfect for desserts, salads, and of cource Fruit Cocktails. It can also serve as a complement for meat dishes. Here in the Philippines, one of my mom’s specialty is a chicken dish called  “Pininyahang Manok”. It is a Chicken dish cooked with pineapple juice and coconut milk. My mom even add some pineapple chunks into it.
However, for an acidic person like me, i should have control my self in eating too much pineapple as it’s known for having a high acid content which is quite harmful for me.
oh did i mentioned desserts a while ago? Have you tried Pineapple tarts? My Auntie is good in making tarts…oh my and now i’m craving for them! I better go and visit my Auntie and ask her to bake some tarts for me! Yum Yum

http://www.dailygalaxy.com/photos/uncategorized/2008/12/24/asimorobot_48.jpg

Yesterday as i was reading a magazine ,there’s a certain article there that really took my attention. It was just a short article but it may test your imagination and its up to you if you are to believe it or it was just out of the reality
here’s the article:
“Need something done? Soon you may be turning to one of many service personal robots. These machines perform domestic chores or tasks such as milking cows or handling toxic wastes or serving in fields like emergency medical support
2006- Roomba sales top 2 million
2007- Sales of pool cleaning and window washing robots rise significantly
2008- A new bipedal Honda Asimo unit that can run (at 4 miles per hour) debuts in US
2009- In just three years 4.5 milion domestic robots have been sold
2010- Service and persona; robotics sales exceed $ 17 billion
2025- Sales of service and personal robots near $52 billion
2040- Most household now own a robot or are considering buying one

Today, we’ve already seen Asimo as a product of Honda Company having those Artificial Intelligence that allow them to answer simple questions, they also has the ability to recognize voices and visuals and this is just one of the evidences that those predictions stated in that article are possible to happen in the future
Well we cant deny this thing. We almost see the improvement in some technology especially in cellular phones
From a gadget that was intended to use as a portable phone to call now having other functions like text messages that is widely use now as an alternatives for mails, letters and telegraphs. This cellphones now comes up with cameras, videos, mobile TV,radios and mp3’s so as the internet…all in one small gadget….years by years this cellphone decreases their sizes but at the same time evolving their functions and what more can we expect in the year 2040?
Is true that these technologies really makes all our works easier and makes the world much more smaller.
These are such great advantages for us right now but how long can we have these benefits?
Are all these improovements abd changes can consider as an advantage and only as an advantage?
